WE ARE GREATER THAN ALL THE OLD TESTAMENT SAINTS – Day 163
Text: MATTHEW 11:1-30
Memory Verse: Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he” (Matthew 11:11)
Message: One thing is very clear about God, He cannot lie and He cannot walk in deception. Whatever God says must be the truth and we must believe them without question or interrogation. God said that John the Baptist was the greatest of all that were born of women. But the least person that is born of God is greater than John the Baptist. That tells us that John was greater than Moses, Elijah, Elisha or any of the Old Testament saints. But the least of us in God’s kingdom today is greater than John the Baptist. It will therefore be very wrong to pray or desire to be another Elijah or Elisha here. We are far far superior to Elijah or Elisha. At best, all of those saints were called servants of God, but we are the sons and daughters of God. We can decree a thing and it shall be established. Our relationship with God is not based on our works or performance but based and founded on the blood of the lamb – Jesus Christ. We are no more ordinary people. We were purchased by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. We must stop looking down on ourselves and we must begin to see ourselves the way God sees us. We are unique, we are special. We are not ordinary people.
Wisdom Nugget: The way you see yourself determines the way the devil will see you.
Prayer Point: I decree and declare that I am untouchable and un-molestable for the enemies in Jesus name.
