THE WORD ABIDES FOREVER – Day 79

Text: ISAIAH 40:1-31

Memory Verse: The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever (Isaiah 40:8)

Message: Almost everything is temporary in this world, even the world itself is temporary. Please understand that none of us will be in this world forever, we have a time certain in this world, that is why we need to do all that we need to do now before it is too late. If you have not received Christ into your heart, you have to do that now. This is the time to be serious with God, it is time to discover God’s purpose for your life and be sold out completely to that purpose. It is time to make marks for the Lord on this planet earth. The world we live in is a temporary place. Only the word of God abides forever. Laws changes, government changes, government policies do change as well, but the word of God does not change. We cannot separate God and His word. God’s word is everything that God is. If God is dependable and reliable, then His word is dependable and reliable. If God cannot change, His word cannot change, if God cannot lie, then His word is true. Just like His word produced great results in the time of old, that same word will produce amazing results in our lives today. The word of God is not subject to the economy of our land. Apostle Paul declared that God will supply all the needs of God’s people according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, so also He will do in our lives today if we believe His word.

Wisdom Nugget: The word of God works wonders today just as it worked in the past.

Prayer Point: Father, help me to stand on your word regardless of the situation and the circumstances in Jesus name.
