THE GOD OF SUPERNATURAL SUPPLIES – Day 173

Text: PHILIPIANS 4:1-23

Memory Verse: But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philipians 4:19)

Message: We serve a living God; we are not serving a dead God. He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we ask or think of, according to His power that works in us. It is not the will of God that any of His children should suffer lack or be poor. God wants us to have more than enough. There is nothing we need that our father can not supply. There is no scarcity in Him. He is the God of more than enough. When He created man, He put man in the garden of plenty, and the garden of abundance not the garden of scarcity and austerity. We were told that the garden was sited in a place where there was gold and other precious stones. This is to show that it is not the intention of God for His people to suffer lack or live in poverty. All the wealth in the world was created by Him, silver and gold belong to Him and He is not holding the wealth for the children of the devil but for His own children. We must see God as our source and not just one of our numerous sources. We can have several channels or streams of income, but God remains the only source. We must not just see God as our Lord and Saviour, but we need to accept Him as our provider, our healer, our helper, and what have you.

Wisdom Nugget: Until God becomes your only source, your supplies are not guaranteed.
