REACHING OUT BY ALL MEANS – Day 117

Text: 1 CORINTHIANS 9:1-27

Memory Verse: For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more. And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law (1 Corinthians 9:19,20)

Message: Soul-winning or evangelism generally is a very serious business as far as God and the saints of old were concerned. It is not something that we should approach casually or take with levity or nonchalant attitude. Soul-winning requires all our tacts, intellects, experience, exposure, trainings, skills, diplomacy, wisdom and what have you? We need to pray passionately, intensely and extensively. We also need to preach to the people passionately and compassionately. We cannot afford to take it lightly. Apostle Paul said, he made himself servant of all so that he might win some. To the Jews he made himself look like a Jew so that he might win some. Although some have misconstrued this that one needs to compromise or join people to do evil before one can reach out to people, but that is not true, that is not correct. We cannot help them if we are like them. What that simply means is that we must learn to engage every method to reach out to people. We must plan big crusade and mini crusade. We must use literature; we must use television, radio, newspaper, facebook, google, internet e.t.c. to reach out to the teaming population of people in our generation.

Wisdom Nugget: We cannot change them if we join them, you cannot make a difference unless you are different.

Prayer Point: Father, I receive the grace to make a difference in this generation in Jesus name.
