OUR LABOUR IS NOT IN VAIN – Day 182

Text: 1 CORINTHIANS 15:1-58

Memory Verse: Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 15:58)

Message: Every child of God must be knowledgeable in the word of God. No one will be able to discourage or stop us from doing the right things when we are fully equipped with the knowledge of God. Apostle Paul admonished the brethren in Corinth to be steadfast or consistent; he told them to become “unmovable”that is, not to allow anyone or anything to discourage them. He also told them to increase in the work of the Lord. Beloved, no matter what you are doing and no matter what you have done for the kingdom of God, I need to let you know that there is grace to do much more. You must make up your mind not to follow others or allow others to influence you wrongly. You must do whatever you are doing with the knowledge of the fact that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. Think of how you can increase or do much more than you have ever done for God. Never allow anyone to deceive, dissuade, distract or discourage you. We shall all give accounts of our stewardship to God. Your labour is not in vain because reward is coming. I see God rewarding your labour of love in Jesus name.

Wisdom Nugget: If you are not tired of working for God, He will not be tired of blessing and protecting you.

Prayer Point: Father, I receive grace to labour more for you this year in Jesus name.
