OBEDIENCE BRINGS PROSPERITY – Day 189

Text: DEUTERONOMY 29:1-29

Memory Verse: Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do. (Deuteronomy 29:9)

Message: It is possible to prosper or do well in all our endeavors. Another word for prosperity is to do well. God wants us to do well in life. Like we said earlier, God derives pleasure in our prosperity just as the devil and the wicked hate our prosperity. Many of your so-called friends, relatives, and associates may not have delight in your prosperity but their hatred cannot stop God. We can prosper in all that we do; all it takes is to walk in obedience to His word. The word of God is the wisdom of God. It is not possible to do well in any area of our lives if we neglect the instructions of God’s word. Prosperity in the kingdom is not meant for some privileged few, but it is meant for as many as we make up their minds to walk in obedience. To prosper in the kingdom, we must make the word of God our priority, we must love God with all our hearts and serve Him faithfully. We must have great delight in the word of God and we must learn to worship God with our substance. We must start from where we are. We must not wait till we become millionaires or billionaires before we can give generously, consistently and sacrificially. We must start right now with what we have and right where we are.

Wisdom Nugget: Great delight in the word of God is raw practice of the word, that is the surest guarantee to a world of abundance.

Prayer Point: Father, I receive the grace to walk in total obedience in Jesus name.
