NO SALVATION IN ANY OTHER – Day 97

Text: ACTS 4:1-37

Memory Verse: Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved ( Acts 4:12 )

Message: The Apostles of old were confronted with so much oppositions and persecutions because they preached the word of God boldly. Today, we are getting lesser results because we are very diplomatic and subtle in our presentations. The agnostics and the religious people will certainly hate us and persecute us when we say or preach the Gospel the way it is. That is why we must never be afraid of their persecutions and oppositions because we cannot preach the gospel otherwise. It is no more the gospel when we try to tell pagans and religious people that we are serving the same God. We need to let people know what the Bible says without fear or apprehension. The word of God tells us that there is no other name in which we can be saved except the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. So when we sing that only Jesus can save we know we are really saying the mind of God. Only Jesus can save mankind because He is the only one that died for the sin of the whole world. It will amount to nothing but mere deception to tell people anything but this truth of God’s word that only Jesus can save them. Jesus Christ is not one of the ways. He is the only way that guarantees salvation and eternal rest with God.

Wisdom Nugget: There is no other way to salvation except Jesus Christ. Salvation is superior to education.
