LIFT UP YOUR VOICE – Day 105

Text: ISAIAH 58:1-14

Memory Verse: Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins (Isaiah 58:1)

Message: The only way evil can triumph in any society is when the good people in that society decide to keep mute. Without any doubt, evil is bound to prevail in any land when the righteous decide to hold their peace. That is why God has given us the responsibility to voice out. Infact, God said we should cry aloud and spare not, He emphasized it by commanding us to lift up our voice like trumpet. We need to tell the people about their evil deeds or sinful lifestyle and we also need to let them know the danger of being rebellious or adamant. We need to show the people that Christ has paid for all their sins and show them the fact that they do not need to pay any price or make any sacrifice or ritual before they can be saved. As children of God we must become the right voice wherever we find ourselves. We must learn to voice out against injustice, cheating and corruption in our land. That we are children of God does not mean we should keep quiet and watch evil prevail, rather, we need to realize that God has given us the responsibility to be the conscience of the society. More importantly we must not just fold our arms and watch millions of souls go to hell without showing them the way.

Wisdom Nugget: God gave us a voice so we can voice out His word to our generation.

Prayer Point: Father, anoint me to take your word to the world in Jesus name.
