LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LORD. – Day 61
Text: PSALMS 150:1-6
Memory Verse: Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD (Psalms 150:6)
Message: Anyone who can still breathe owes God thanks and praise. That breath in your nostrils cannot be bought with money; it is freely given by the mercies of God. Many are waiting for so many things before they can be joyful, praiseful or thankful. They do not think they need to testify because of so many things they believe God has not done for them. But God did not say let everyone that has a set of twins or everyone that is married, or everyone who have bought a car or anyone who got a good job but anyone who have breath. We are here today because we fall into that category of men and women who have breath. Those who lost their breath in the cause of the year have gone to the world beyond. Some are now in the grave. While some are now in the mortuary or morgue, but we are in the sanctuary because we are alive and well just by divine Providence. We are not alive today because of our prayer and fasting or because of our good deeds, but by God’s grace and mercies. We have every reason to praise God and give Him thanks. We have no power or might of our own to keep ourselves, but we are kept by His grace. The next year shall be much more glorious than this year by His grace. God will do greater things in our lives, our families and our church in this coming year. That is why we must praise God like never before today.
Wisdom Nugget: Whatever we are grateful for multiplies, only the grateful shall become great.
Prayer Point: Father, thank you so much for making me and my family to see the end of this year.
