IT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY – Day 30
Text: EXODUS 25:1-40
Memory Verse: Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering. And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass. And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them (Exodus 25:2,3&8)
Message: Any child of God that refuses to embrace responsibility cannot but die as a liability. God cannot be made responsible for everything. A wise man once said that, any faith that seeks to make God responsible for all our welfare is an irresponsible faith. God does not want us to be irresponsible. The more responsible we are, the better our lives become. Prayer is a very powerful key for us as believers, but the earlier we realize that prayer is not the only key or the key to everything the better. There are many things that no one can do for you, the earlier you realize that, the faster your journey to the top becomes. For instance, no one can think for you, and the deeper your thoughts, the higher you go in life; no one can eat for you, no one can go to the restroom for you. You have to do all that by yourself. Pregnant women know that they have to deliver their babies by themselves whether through operation or normal delivery. As children of God, the building of our father’s house is our responsibility; winning souls is our responsibility; taking care of our man of God is our responsibility. We cannot fold our arms and be praying for unbelievers to come and win souls or build sanctuaries for us.
Wisdom Nugget: Anyone who fails to accept responsibility will end up as a liability.
Prayer Point: Father, I receive grace to embrace responsibility; I receive grace to build for you in Jesus name.
