IT IS MORE BLESSED TO GIVE – Day 11

Text: ACTS 20:1-38

Memory Verse: I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35)

Message: We are not destined to be beggars, but givers. We are destined to support the weak, help the helpless, and take good care of people who are disabled. There are so many in our world today who are professional beggars, even though there is nothing wrong with their bodies — they have two eyes, legs, hands, and what have you. Some of them are even stronger than the people they are begging from. Many are not physically challenged, but they only have the disability of the mind. For those who are weak, challenged, and less privileged, we are blessed of God to be a blessing to them. There are people who see giving as losing money, and they find it difficult to give.  But the truth is that we are gaining not losing. You must have heard people say “Givers never lack”. That is the truth of the scripture. It is true that we are blessed when someone gives to us, but we are much more blessed when we give. The secret of overflowing blessing is giving to God and giving to the needy or the less privileged. You may be down right now, or possibly you may be struggling for survival and looking for people who can help you out, but I need to let you know that the way out of your present predicament is to learn to give out of the little you have. No matter how poor you are, I know your case is still better than some people. Learn to give to God and give to others as well and watch God bless you beyond your wildest imagination.

Wisdom Nugget: Givers will never lack as far as the word of God is true.

Prayer Point: Father,I receive the grace to give better than before in Jesus name.
