HE SHALL SAVE HIS PEOPLE FROM THEIR SINS – Day 98

Text: MATTHEW 1:1-25

Memory Verse: And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins (Matthew 1:21)

Message: Names are very important as far as God is concerned. Every name has a meaning and a purpose. God gave His only son JESUS because He will save his people from their sins. The problem of sin is a universal problem. People are chained by sin no matter where they are and who they are. Be it white, black or any colour, whether they live in Africa or Europe or North America or South America. It is a common problem that we have all over the world and education, science, technology and social development cannot deliver anyone from sin. There is no amount of money, education or even civilisation that can deliver anyone from sin, that is why a professor can be caged by small girls and he will not be able to deliver himself. That is why the whole world needs Jesus, He is the only one that can deliver us from sin and connect us back to God. There is a great vacuum in every human being craving for God and that vacuum can never be filled by anything else. The more we know Jesus the better our lives become, the more we live a victorious life over sin and the flesh. Without Christ we are doomed and we live under condemnation. You have struggled enough to be free. You do not need to struggle at all, you just need to yield to Christ and respond positively to the word of God.

Wisdom Nugget: Those who spend their lives serving God cannot have their lives wasted by the enemies.

Prayer Point: Father, use me to draw multitude of souls to you in Jesus name.
