DWELLING TOGETHER IN UNITY – Day 131

Text: PSALM 133:1-3

Memory Verse: Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity (Psalm 133:1)

Message: One of the greatest weapon in the arsenal of the devil is disunity. Nothing threatens the enemy like the unity of the church or the unity of couples or the unity of the people of God. Satan uses divide and rule tactics, he causes division in the church, families and among people because their unity is a threat to him and his kingdom. Our unity renders the devil helpless; it brings confusions to the camp of the wicked. Our strength has no limit when we operate in unity. Our prayers become very dangerous to the kingdom of darkness when we pray in unity. There is no unity without love, forgiveness, forbearance or endurance and patience. We must walk in unconditional love and see ourselves as one before we can experience unity. The body of Christ is one because, the same blood of Jesus flows in our veins. We need unity of purpose to defeat all the oppositions and persecutions from the camp of the enemy. The Psalmist said it is good and pleasant when we walk in unity as brethren. It is the unity that flows like the anointing upon Aaron that flows from the top to the bottom. The flow of the anointing of God is determined by our unity and limited by our disunity and hatred. In verse 3 we also read that God commands His blessing where there is love and unity. That is, to say that there are realms of blessing we cannot access without love and unity in the church. Brethren that walk in love and unity walk in unlimited blessing even when others are languishing in lack and poverty.

Wisdom Nugget: If satan can stop you from walking in love and unity, he can stop the flow of your blessing.

Prayer Point: Father, I receive the grace to walk in love and unity like never before in Jesus name.
