DO ALL THINGS TO THE GLORY OF GOD – Day 130

Text: 1 CORINTHIANS 10:1-33

Memory Verse: Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:31)

Message: As children of God we are not permitted to live carelessly or recklessly. We are guided by the word of God. That word is the constitution of this kingdom. The word of God made it so clear on how we should live our lives, but the guiding principle is that whatever we do, we must do them to the glory of God. Anything that will not bring glory to God must be classified as sin and we must not be involved. The glory of God must be our pursuit in all that we do. As you wake up each day, purpose to do that which gives glory to God. In our speech, conduct and behaviours we must pursue the glory of God. Our words and behaviours must glorify God. We must speak to the glory of God. Whatever we say must give glory or praise to God. Before we do anything, we must ask ourselves if that particular thing will bring glory to God or not. Come to think of it, how someone will be truly saved and continue with taking alcohol or living in sexual immorality. This can only be possible when they do not bother about the glory of God. Those who do all things to the glory of God will not do anything that displeases God. Let the way you relate with your spouse give glory to God. The way you relate with your children or parents must bring glory to God.

Wisdom Nugget: Only those who do all things for His glory can truly experience His glory in their lives.

Prayer Point: Father, I receive the grace to seek your glory in all that I do in Jesus name.
