DELIVERED FROM THIS PRESENT WORLD – Day 118

Text: GALATIANS 1:1-24

Memory Verse: Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father (Galatians 1:3 & 4)

Message: Sin keeps people in perpetual bondage. That was why Jesus Christ gave Himself for our sins so that He can deliver us from this present evil world. Thank God for the death of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. Thank God for the sacrificial death, the burial and the resurrection of Christ which took care of our sins and brought deliverance for us from this evil world. As children of God, we must always walk in the consciousness of who we are in Christ and what Christ has wrought for us on the cross of Calvary. The believer in Christ is not a refurbished person but a brand new person in Christ. When we truly acknowledge all the privileges we enjoy by knowing Christ we will be more passionate to reach out to sinners all around us. No matter how much you love and care for people, you cannot make them partakers of the works of redemption which Christ did on the cross of Calvary except we preach to them and bring them to Christ. That is why we cannot afford to keep quiet but we must do everything to draw more people to God so they can enjoy all that God has for His children in this kingdom.

Wisdom Nugget: As children of God, we must always walk in the consciousness of what Christ has done for us.

Prayer Point: Father, I receive the grace to love and care for people genuinely in Jesus name.
