CATCH THE VISION OF JESUS – Day 103

Text: LUKE 19:1-48

Memory Verse: For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost (Luke 19:10)

Message: The Bible tells us that where there is no vision, the people perish (Proverbs 29:18). Our Lord Jesus Christ declared His vision or the purpose for which He came in our text today. He said the son of man came to seek and to save those who were lost. That was His vision or mission simply stated and that was His pursuit throughout His lifetime. He did it so much He had to go to the cross to fulfill that mission. He was never too tired or too hungry to do it. He used every opportunity to fulfill that assignment and He took advantage of every opportunity to achieve that mission. As children of God, we must catch the same mission with the Master. He saved us so we can be involved in that great assignment of winning others to His kingdom. We must never give excuses or find reasons why the assignment cannot be done but reasons why it must be done. We must create opportunity for it and make use of every opportunity that comes our ways. No sacrifice, no pain, no money is too much to spend for the salvation of others. We must never become like some who have become lackadaisical, complacent, satisfied, lazy, slothful and unconcerned about the plight of the lost. One of the ways to know a believer who has become or who is becoming lukewarm is his or her attitude towards soul-winning. Those who are on fire for God will always win souls.

Wisdom Nugget: You cannot be on fire for God and not spread the fire to win more souls.

Prayer Point: Father, I receive the grace to catch the vision of soul-winning. I refuse to be lukewarm in Jesus name.
