BLAMELESS AND HARMLESS – Day 185

Text: PHILIPIANS 2:1-30

Memory Verse: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world. (Philipians 2:15)

Message: It is not the will of our father that we get lost in the crowd; it is God’s will that we stand out here on earth. He wants us to have outstanding results, as His children, He wants us to set the pace for others to follow. We are supposed to be the role models in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation or generation. We are not supposed to be influenced by the world; we are to influence the world positively for the Lord. We must learn to shine the light wherever we find ourselves. We must never allow the people of the world to pollute us, we must be different and we must make a difference. We cannot win them if we join them in their evil deeds and sinful lifestyle. We can only make a difference when we choose to be different. We must live the exceptional life, we must become blameless and harmless, we must live above board, we must be the example to the people around us. A lot of people are watching us, they may not have the Bible to read but our lifestyle should make them know what is written in the Bible. What we say to them is not as important as what they see us do or how they see us live. It is time to make a difference in our vocation or profession. It is time to make a difference in that area where you live, in your family and everywhere you find yourself. If you cannot beat them, pray for their salvation and live as a worthy ambassador but refuse to join them in their evil deeds.

Wisdom Nugget: Only those who are different can truly make a significant difference. If you cannot beat them, don’t join them but pray and preach to them.

Prayer Point: Father, I receive the grace to be different, to stand out, and to make a difference.
