BEHOLD, I COME QUICKLY – Day 183

Text: REVELATION 22:1-21

Memory Verse: And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. (Revelation 22:12)

Message: To some of us this may look like a portion of the Old Testament because it talks about works but amazingly it is the word of our Lord Jesus Christ as revealed to John in the book of Revelations. Whether we like it or not, whether we are expecting Him or not, I need to share this good news with us that our Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again. Not as a little baby in the manger, not again, He is coming as the king of the universe, as the judge and as a rewarder. He said, He is coming quickly, no one knows how soon but since He said quickly more than two thousand years ago then I know His coming is closer or sooner now. He said, He has the rewards with Him and He is ready to give to every man according to their works. Remember He saved us by grace not by our works but at His second coming He will examine the works that we have done after our salvation and reward us accordingly. Those who are into wickedness, cheating, gossip and those who commit immorality in the church shall also be rewarded accordingly. All the tithers, soul winners, faithful partners, faithful givers, those who refuse to compromise with the system of this world shall also be rewarded. The question now is, what shall be your reward when He comes

Wisdom Nugget: Those who are truly expecting His second coming show it by their doggedness to His assignments

Prayer Point: Father, I receive the grace to live a prepared life in Jesus name.
