BECOMING EXTRAORDINARY THROUGH PRAYERS – Day 1

Text: JAMES 5:1-20

Memory Verse: Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit (James 5:17,18)

Message: You cannot be a man of prayer and live a defeated life or live as an ordinary man or woman on this planet earth. Praying men and women usually become men and women of great authority and exploit. You may be born and raised by ordinary people, you may be raised in an ordinary environment but you cannot end up as an ordinary person if you give attention to prayers. Without any doubt, your prayer life determines the quality of the life you live. Prayer itself is a leveller; with prayer you can overcome every form of disadvantage that would have limited your life. A man of prayer can not be limited by anything; a man of prayer is absolutely unstoppable by any force here on earth. We must learn to maximize the great opportunity we have in prayers. The place of prayer is a place of exercising our dominion and authority. Favour can increase or multiply, God can give you unimaginable result and breakthrough through ceaseless, fervent or heartfelt prayers. We live a disadvantaged life when we refuse to take advantage of prayers. Praying seriously at the beginning of a venture or at the beginning of the month will go a long way to determine what the venture or that month will turn out to be.

Wisdom Nugget: Where you were raised and how you were raised cannot tamper with your destiny if you are ready to recover your destiny through prayers.

Prayer Point: Father, i receive the grace to be a man or woman of prayer in Jesus name.
