AVOID BAD DECISIONS – Day 3

Text: LUKE 6:1-49

Memory Verse: And it came to pass in those days that he went out into a mountain to pray and continued all night in prayer to God (Luke 6:12)

Message: The subject of prayer occupies a critical place in the life and ministry of Our Lord Jesus Christ. He realised that not much can be achieved without intensive prayers. He did not only taught on the benefits and power of prayers but demonstrated it with His life. One of the greatest benefits of prayers is the fact that it helps us to make the right decisions. No wonder Jesus spent quality time in prayers before choosing His disciples. We must never forget the fact that our decisions determine our destinies. You make a decision today, your decision makes you tomorrow. No one succeeds without the right decision. Where you are today is a function of the decision you made yesterday be it good or bad. The truth remains that where you will be tomorrow will also be determined by the decisions you make today. But we need to realise the fact that it is almost impossible to make the right decision without prayers. Those who take sufficient time to pray usually understand the mind of God. The devil delights in our errors and poor or bad decisions. You can imagine if God has a good plan for you in Nigeria and you pack your bag and baggages and relocate to England just a month or few months to the fulfillment of that which God has in mind for you in Nigeria. No one would have made such decision if he has a perfect understanding of the plan of God.

Wisdom Nugget: Planning without praying is losing without knowing.
