ARE YOU CONDEMNED OR NOT CONDEMNED – Day 95

Text: JOHN 3:1-36

Memory Verse: For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God (John 3:17,18)

Message: There are two groups of people in this world whether they are black or white, educated or not educated, male or female. The two groups are those who are not under condemnation and those who are under condemnation. Those who have received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour are not under condemnation but those who have not received Him are already under condemnation. The word of God even says in Romans 8:1 thus; “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit”. Our salvation in Christ delivers us from condemnation. We must never allow the devil to make us feel unworthy, guilty and condemned when God Himself said we are not under condemnation. On the other hand, the word of God tells us that anyone who did not believe in Christ is condemned already. There are people who think that we are condemning them when we preach to them but the Bible says they are condemned already. That is why as preachers of the gospel we have no business to condemn people, that is not our ministry. We are to bring people out of condemnation by leading them to Christ. People are already condemned, only the gospel of Christ can set them free.

Wisdom Nugget: Every sinner is condemned and dead without Christ. Only salvation in Christ destroys the condemnation.

Prayer Point: Father, I receive the grace to deliver people from condemnation in Jesus name.
