ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY – Day 193

Text: JOHN 9:1-41

Memory Verse: I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. (John 9:4)

Message: The language of responsible people is different from that of the irresponsible ones. Responsible people talk of what they must do but those who are not responsible do not think that they need to do anything; rather they give excuses why they cannot do anything and blame others for their predicaments. Our success begins the very day we make up our minds never to blame anyone for our predicaments. We need to understand that it is up to us if our story must change. A wise man once said that responsibility is the price of greatness and nothing can be truer than that statement. Until we are ready to accept responsibility, we are not prepared for greatness in life. We must always remember that nothing happens by chance; every event must be invented by someone. We must think of what to do to enhance our destiny. We must think of what we need to do to move from where we are to where we ought to be. It is time to become a responsible father, mother, child, worker, or minister in the house of God. Choose to be a responsible child of God today.

Wisdom Nugget: Responsibility is the price of greatness, If things must change it is up to you.
