THEY CAUSED GREAT JOY – Day 139

Text: ACTS 15:1-41

Memory Verse: And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren (Acts 15:3)

Message: We were not only admonished to rejoice, we are also to spread joy wherever we go or wherever we find ourselves. We just read about Paul and Barnabas as they were released for the assignment that God has in mind for them, they brought great testimonies of the conversion of many and that brought great joy to the brethren. We too are expected to spread joy wherever we go. Our testimony or rather the testimonies of our exploits should and must bring joy to the Body of Christ. The Bible even told us that there is great joy over sinners that are saved. Those who win souls usually cause heaven to rejoice and they also cause the earth to rejoice. There is something wrong with a believer who has no regard or concern for soul-winning . We cannot bring joy to our world without winning souls to God’s kingdom. The world cannot experience much joy without soul-winning. There would be more crimes, more violence all over the world without soul-winning. The report of souls coming to God must be a thing of joy for us at all times and we must always be excited when we hear such reports, we must always be challenged to do much more for God.

Wisdom Nugget: When your vision is to spread joy then you can never lack it.

Prayer Point: Father, I receive the grace to spread your joy everywhere I find myself in Jesus name.
