CHRIST IN YOU – Day 108

Text: COLOSSIANS 1:1-29

Memory Verse: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27)

Message: Nothing can be more important than having Christ living in us. That means everything and that is all that is most important for anyone. It is catastrophic to live a life without Christ. It is nothing but a misfortune or calamity and taking unnecessary risk. Life is empty, worthless, meaningless, hopeless and void of direction without Christ. It is our salvation in Christ that actually injects to us the very life of God. A sinner is dead or lifeless but we receive the very life of God when we allow Christ in our heart. It is our salvation in Christ that gives our lives a meaning. We also receive a lively hope as we come to Christ or as we allow Christ to come to us. He actually left His throne in heaven to come to us. Our salvation in Christ delivers us from sin and the consequences of sin. It is that same salvation that makes us a citizen of heaven. When we receive Christ we receive His peace in our lives and situations. Christ is the prince of peace. Some in the world today are very rich and occupy enviable position of power but unfortunately they have no peace. When we receive Christ He gives to us the peace that passeth all understanding. It is foolishness to continue to live life without Christ and it is wickedness to keep watching people without Christ and we are not preaching to them to win their heart to God. We have obligation or duty to reach out to the lost.

Wisdom Nugget: If Christ is not in you then the devil is in you. You are either for Christ or against Him.

Prayer Point: Father, i receive the grace not to keep mute. I am a soul-winner in Jesus name.
