THE SECRET OF BLISSFUL MARRIAGE – Day 94

Text: MATTHEW 19:1-30

Memory Verse: And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? (Matthew 19:4,5)

Message: We talked extensively last month on the subject of knowledge of the word. We spoke extensively on the need to study the word of God and more importantly the need to become the doer of the word. I deliberately choose to write on a blissful marriage today to celebrate my heart-throb, the closest woman to me on this planet earth, my friend, my sweetheart, my greatest partner in this kingdom business, my wife, Pastor Laura Ojigiri who is celebrating her birthday today. I love you and I celebrate you today as I pray that the Lord will perfect all that concerns you and cause you to enjoy the reward of your labour. She labours day and night to minister and care for the needy, her love for God is exceptional and unparalleled, I love you with all my heart. Without a sweet and blissful marriage, it would have been very difficult to do all that God is using me to do today. When they asked our Lord Jesus Christ questions about marriage and divorce, He made them to realize that divorce was not in the original plan of God for man. He also gave them a major secret that will make any marriage to work. He said in verse 4 “Have ye not read”. That also talks about the place of knowledge. It will be difficult for any marriage to work if you do not read or study the word of God or you do not pay attention to what you are reading or hearing.

Wisdom Nugget: Nothing builds relationship and especially marriage like obedience to the word of God.

Prayer Point: Father, I pray that my marriage will be an award winning marriage in Jesus name.
