UNTO US A CHILD IS BORN – Day 55

Text: ISAIAH 9:1-21

Memory Verse: For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6)

Message: Let me seize this opportunity to wish all our readers today a merry Christmas and a happy new year in advance. The faithful God who have made you to see today will also ensure that you see the end of the year and beyond. We are entering the new year in perfect peace whether the devil likes it or not. Today we are celebrating the prince of peace that was born into this world. He was sent to change the world and within thirty-three and half years He changed the world and saved humanity. Without the coming of Jesus there will be no salvation. Matthew 1:21 says “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his names JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins”. The greatest thing He came for was the salvation of mankind. Nothing can be more important than our salvation. That was why our Lord Jesus Christ came and paid the ultimate price. He walked on the planet earth to show us example, so we can follow His footstep. Our goal must be to know Him more and to make Him known to others. There are many that go to church today but they do not really know Christ as they should. Some only know about religion but they know little or nothing about Christ. If Christ can leave His glory and came to us, we must also humble ourselves and go to the rejected and the forsaken ones to preach Christ to them.

Wisdom Nugget: Without Christ you are bound to live in crisis.

Prayer Point: Father, I receive the grace to pattern my life after Christ in Jesus name.
