MAKE HIS DEEDS KNOWN – Day 35
Text: 1 CHRONICLES 16:1-43
Memory Verse: Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people (1 Chronicles 16:8)
Message: One of the way to give thanks or praise God is to make His deeds known unto people. We must make it our habit to tell others about the goodness of God or His kindness that we have received or enjoyed. It is tantamount to ingratitude to hide the goodness of God without broadcasting it to believers and all the unbelievers around us. Anyone who hides the goodness of God without testifying is nothing but an ingrate. Only the unthankful will not make the deeds of God known to others. There are several ways to make His deeds known unto others. We can give testimony of His deeds or acts in church services or special programmes. We must make it our habit to testify. There are people who will never testify except you ask them to do so. Some always assume that their blessing is too small to be testified about, they are always waiting for something big or spectacular before they testify. We can also make His deeds known by our involvement in His kingdom business. Imagine someone who only comes to church once in a while because of business engagements or put differently, because of the blessing of God on their lives. It is ingratitude that makes people behave that way. We can show God’s deeds or make His works known through our giving. There are people whose giving does not change no matter the blessings of God on their lives. We can also make His deeds known by winning souls for Him.
Wisdom Nugget: It is impossible for grateful people to keep quiet, they will always testify.
Prayer Point: Father, I receive the grace never to be ashamed of talking about your deeds in my life in Jesus name.
