HE DAILY LOADS US WITH BENEFITS – Day 34

Text: PSALMS 68:1-35

Memory Verse: Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation (Psalms 68:19)

Message: There are so many reasons why we need to bless God on a daily basis. The number one reason is because His benefits or blessings come upon us on a daily basis. The Bible tells us that He daily loads us with benefits. There are so many things that we enjoy on a daily basis as a result of God’s goodness and kindness toward us. Our going out and coming in, the journey mercies we receive in all our ways, the answers to our prayers, the divine protection and preservation that we enjoy, the food on our table, the money that we spend, the air that we breathe in and out, our ability to ease ourselves by ourselves and not by any machine, pipe or even dialysis, the hearing ears and the seeing eyes. The opportunities that we receive all comes on a daily basis and we must be careful to appreciate God for all these on a daily basis. How we need to take a pen and a paper to list out all that God is doing for us on a daily basis. The writer of the popular hymn wrote “Count your blessings, name them one by one, Count your blessings see what the Lord has done. Count your blessings, name them one by one and it will surprise you what the Lord has done”. Many do not count their blessing because they think their blessings do not count.

Wisdom Nugget: Many do not bother to count their blessings because they think their blessings do not count.

Prayer Point: Father, I receive grace not only to count my blessing but to be grateful for them in Jesus name.
