GOD IS GOOD AND HIS MERCIES ENDURETH FOR EVER – Day 31

Text: PSALMS 118:1-29

Memory Verse: O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever (Psalms 118:1)

Message: The foundation for faith is a thorough understanding and assurance in the fact that our God is good and His mercies endureth for ever. The devil will make us feel that God is a wicked God but God is so good and satan is terribly bad and very wicked. The devil’s mission is to steal, kill and destroy but Our Lord Jesus Christ came so we can have life and have it more abundantly. God is good and He is full of grace and mercies. That is why we must give Him thanks at all times and appreciate Him for His goodness and mercies. We are alive and well today because our God is good. Without His mercies, we could have gone into oblivion. God’s mercies are not only for few days or weeks, not even for years but forever. That is the mercy that has kept us till now. Today is the very first day of the twelfth month of the year. Beloved, it must be God who have kept us and He did not allow the enemies to prevail over our lives. Many have gone to the world beyond, we are not better than them. Some of them were even better than us but God kept us in His love and mercies, not because of our prayers, fasting, soul winning or giving. As important as those things are, they are not the reasons why God kept us. We have every reason to worship God and celebrate Him in our lives.

Wisdom Nugget: Only those who can think will really appreciate the faithfulness of God.
