THE PURPOSE OF OUR LIVING – Day 19

Text: ACTS 26:1-32

Memory Verse: To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me (Acts 26:18)

Message: It is true that when purpose is not known abuse is inevitable. We serve a God of purpose and He has purpose for everything on this planet earth. According to Charles swindoll, even the spider at the corner of the wall has a purpose let alone someone created in the image of God or someone purchased by Jesus’ blood. The truth is that, God does not do anything without a purpose. It is my prayer that God will help and guide you to realise His purpose for your life. When Apostle Paul encountered Christ on his way to Damascus, he fell down before the Lord and Jesus said to him; “But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee” (Acts 26:16). Everyone was created by God and sent to this world for a purpose by our Father God, the creator. We must be concerned about God’s purpose for our lives. There are general purpose and there are specific purpose of God for our lives. My prayer is that we will not miss God’s ultimate plan and purpose for our lives. One of such general purpose is the fact that God wants everyone of us to be a soul winner. We are to draw multitudes of souls to the kingdom of God. We must be willing to do that regularly and passionately because we do not have forever to do it.

Prayer Point: Father, help me to follow your Master Plan for my life in Jesus name.
