DECISION DETERMINES DESTINY – Day 14

Text: DEUTERONOMY 30:1-20,

Memory Verse: I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live (Deuteronomy 30:19)

Message: There is no way to move forward or change the situation of our lives without concrete decisions. Our decisions usually determine our lots in life. Whether death or life, curses or blessing, they are all determined by our decisions. God will not force anything on us, we can only be a beneficiary of prosperity, divine health, marital bliss, success by our decisions. Nothing happens by chance in this world. We are the architects of our failure or success. We have no one to blame for our situation or predicament. You can choose to succeed, you can choose to prosper, you can choose to be the head and not the tail, above and not beneath. You can choose to forgive or bear grudges, you can choose to live healthy or choose to be afflicted with sicknesses and diseases. Life is all about the choices we make. We all desire to prosper, succeed, live healthy or live long but none of these can become the reality of our lives, if we only have mere wishes and we do not make up our minds to change our actions or lifestyle or make decisions to do what the word of God says. You can choose to live right or choose to be different regardless of the high level of immorality and sin in our society today.
