IT SHALL BE AS IT WAS TOLD ME – Day 216

Text: ACTS 27:1-44

Memory Verse: Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me (Acts 27:25)

Message: It is easier to believe God and His word when there is no problem or any storm of life around us, but it is not so when things are very difficult and the storms of life seem to be raging.
Such was the situation that Apostle Paul went through as he travelled on the sea. The storm was so great, it was so obvious that having a shipwreck was inevitable. The people were confused and perplexed, because of death that stared them at the face. Everyone was thinking about death and eternity. Everyone seems to be afraid. It was at a critical moment like this that Apostle Paul rose up to encourage the people to cheer up based on his faith in what the angel of the Lord told him the previous night. Not many people will believe God at such a critical moment even though that is the time we need our faith most.
We must never allow the devil to make us think that our faith is just to believe God for small things and we now think that only the doctors or the world systems can help us to solve the big problems. We need God at all times regardless of the size of our problems or size of our battles.

Wisdom Nugget: If you cannot bank on God, you should not have trust in the banking system here on earth.

Prayer Point: Father, I believe that it shall be unto me according to your word in Jesus name.
