FOLLOWING HARD AFTER GOD – Day 214

Text: PSALM 63:1-11

Memory Verse: My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.” (Psalm 63:8)

Message: We cannot amount to much in God when we only follow Him casually and we are not serious with our Christian life. God cannot not do much with us if we refuse to be serious with Him. To follow hard after God simply means that we are serious with our relationship with God; we place priority on our relationship with Him.Following hard after God requires our seriousness and zealousness for God and the things of God.
We can only follow hard after God when we place priority on our relationship with Him. We cannot be casual in our relationship with God and not end up as casualties in the hand of the devil. Our destiny can only be colourful and fulfilled when we become serious with God or follow hard after Him.
Nothing can stop our prayer life when we choose to follow hard after Him. Following hard after God has nothing to do with money or materialism. When we choose to follow hard after Him we will have a great delight in serving Him whether things are tough or rough. No sacrifice will be too much to offer to God and no mountain will  be too much to climb just to spread the gospel to every creature. Soul winning becomes our delight when we truly follow hard after Him.

Wisdom Nugget: Our destiny can only be glorious when we become serious.

Prayer Point: Father, I receive the grace to be serious with you in Jesus name.
