THE SIMPLICITY THAT IS IN CHRIST – Day 213

Text: 2 CORINTHIANS 11:1-33

Memory Verse: But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ (2 Corinthians 11:3)

Message: As children of God, we must not allow anyone to hoodwink or mislead us particularly from following the simplicity that is in Christ. There are some people who find it difficult to believe God or His word because of the simplicity that is in Christ. 
Some fake prophets will always ask people to do things that are difficult or mysterious because many people seem to be easily carried away with such. Some who find it difficult to believe the word of God easily fall victim when they tell them to do something difficult or mysterious. Some will easily believe it when they tell them to go and have some special bath at the beach or when they tell them to wake up and pray by one O’clock in the night. Or when they are asked to run round the church seven times or when they tell them to perform some rituals or give huge amount of money. They just have a wrong mindsets that one must do something difficult or mysterious before things can work. But there is a simplicity that is in Christ Jesus. 
You can imagine us pray without shaking or doing any rituals, we just apply our faith and lo and behold God uses that to wrought miracles, signs and wonders in our lives and in the lives of many others.

Wisdom Nugget: It can be supernatural even if it is not spectacular.

Prayer Point: I refuse to be deceived. I shall not be deceived from following the simplicity that is in Christ in Jesus name.
