GOOD DEEDS ARE NOT EASILY FORGOTTEN – Day 207

Text: 2 TIMOTHY 1:1-18

Memory Verse: The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain; But, when he was in Rome, he sought me out very diligently, and found me (2 Timothy 1:16-17)

Message: One of the greatest benefit of making impact is that your name and your good deeds are not easily forgotten. You cannot be forgotten in a hurry especially by the people that God used you to bless or impact their lives. All the beneficiaries of your magnanimity will forever be grateful to God for your life and your kindness. Such people will always give God thanks for your life. They may not be able to pay you back and they do not have to do that. But I can assure you that some of them will show their deep appreciation for your kind gestures after some years, but more importantly God will reward you in so many ways that you cannot fathom. 
We must be like Onesiphorus to our spiritual leaders. We must be loyal to our spiritual leaders and we must always think of how we can be a blessing to the church of God. Instead of grumbling and complaining about the things that are not going properly around you, you can pray and take a step to make change happen.
Stop looking forward to what people will do for you but start thinking of what you can do for others. You can make a difference.

Wisdom Nugget: Popularity is not the same as impact, your popularity can fade away if it is not combined with impacts.
