THOU SHALL BE A BLESSING – Day 205

Text: GENESIS 12:1-20

Memory Verse: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing. (Genesis 12:2)

Message: We have the commandment of God on our lives not only to be blessed but to become a blessing to our generation. It is God’s will that we are blessed and for us to become a blessing to our families, our communities, our nation and our generation. As children of God, we are not destined to become paupers, mediocres or beggars. 
We must change our mentality, we must begin to think and see things the way God sees them. We cannot think like paupers and stumble on prosperity. We must also see ourselves as distributors of the wealth that God brings our way. We must not engage in hoarding what God has given to us, we must learn to give out so that God can keep blessing us. We can never lack whatever we give, we only lack what we keep. Our future is not in what we keep, like the people of the world erroneously think, our future is in the quality of what we give.
Purpose in your heart to be a great blessing to the church, to your family, to people around you, wherever you find yourself. Allow God to use you to promote His work here on earth. Be an ardent promoter of God’s kingdom, give towards the preaching of the gospel, give towards soul-winning and outreaches, give to support crusades , soul winning and media programmes and the sky shall not be your limit in Jesus name.

Wisdom Nugget: You cannot lack what you give, you only lack what you keep.

Prayer Point: Father, I receive the grace to give for the expansion of your kingdom like never before in Jesus name.
