NOTHING CAN HINDER GOD – Day 204

Text: 1 SAMUEL 14:1-52

Memory Verse: And Jonathan said to the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may be that the LORD will work for us: for there is no restraint to the LORD to save by many or by few. (1 Samuel 14:6)

Message: We serve a God who is all powerful by Himself. The king James version of the Bible said that “There is no restraint to the Lord to save by many or by few” (1 Samuel 14:6). But I really love the way the New International version renders it, the NIV says “Nothing can hinder God from saving, whether by many or by few.”
We often write ourselves off or give up on trusting God for anything big because we think, we are very few or we do not have enough numbers. We erroneously assume that such big things are meant for people that are very big or many especially in the church of Christ. We often assume that the more our numbers the more we can do or achieve. But God is not moved by numbers. God can work great things whether with few or with many, all we need to do is to learn to trust Him with all our hearts. 
We do not need to doubt God or work in unbelief. Our God is able to do much more than we can ever ask or think of according to His power that works in us. What God can do is not based on our size but is based on what we can believe Him for. We serve a God that cannot be limited but only limitable by our faith or unbelief.

Wisdom Nugget: One with God is a majority. You are not alone if God is on your side.

Prayer Point: Father, I pray that you do great things in my life. Surprise my mockers with my testimonies in Jesus name.
