YOU SHALL DECREE A THING – Day 187

Text: JOB 22:1-30

Memory Verse: Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways. (Job 22:28)

Message: Every child of God is on the power line here on earth. We are not ordinary people. God’s word tells us that we shall decree a thing and it shall be established, so we can boldly say that whatever we have not seen in our lives, we have not actually decree them into existence. A lot of believers today try to beg God in the place of prayers when God says we shall decree things so He can establish them. We are not only making decrees in prayers but every time we open our mouths to speak, we are really making decrees. What do you say with your mouth? Our words are very powerful.The Bible says that life and death lie in the power of the tongue.That tells us that our tongues are powerful. Secondly, we are creating life or death every time we speak. We must live in that consciousness that we are making decrees every time we speak with our mouths. We also need to understand that whatever we say today, will surely become the reality of our lives tomorrow. Do you really want His light to shine upon your ways? Then speak against the darkness that surrounds your life. What you say is actually what God confirms in your life.
