NO MORE LACK – Day 175

Text: DEUTERONOMY 2:1-37

Memory Verse: For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing (Deuteronomy 2:7)

Message: The God that we serve is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He has the ability to do whatever He has done for one, for all. His power cannot reduce nor fail. From our memory verse today, we saw that God blessed the people through the works of their hands, He was with them in the wilderness and He made sure that they did not lack anything. The God who did that for them is still our God today. If He did not allow them to suffer lack then, He can take away lack from your life today. All we need to do is to believe in His word. Our faith or the lack of it places limit on our God even though He is unlimited. He is limited by our faith or the lack of it. We also need to labour with our hands. The blessing of God will not fall on us like a ripen mango; we must do something that God can bless. You cannot be idle and expect God to bless you. Even when you did your best to give, you must also work very hard with your hands so that God can bless the work of your hands. We must also become cheerful givers if we really want to enjoy supernatural supplies.

Wisdom Nugget: The blessing of God cannot find expression in our lives if there is nothing we are doing with our hands.

Prayer Point: Father, prosper the works of my hands this month in Jesus name.
