FORGETTING THE SHAME OF YOUR YOUTH – Day 159

Text: ISAIAH 55:-1-17

Memory Verse: Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more (Isaiah 54:4)

Message: It is possible to forget the pain, the tragedy and the trouble you have been through in life. Of course you will still be able to remember that you actually went through them in your memory. But God can cause us to live as though they never happened by virtue of the great things that He will do in our lives. Imagine someone who had gone through real hunger and starvation, living for days without food and without hope of where to get a meal in three days. Imagine that person now become so blessed that he now gives bags of rice and all kinds of food stuffs to people. He no longer remember what it means to be hungry because God has helped him to defeat hunger in his life. That is the same way the Lord will help you to overcome hunger, lack and poverty. God will make you so rich that you cannot remember how it feels to be in lack. God will cause you to forget the pain, the hurt and the shame of your youth. God will turn your life around and give you a new song. Get ready for a change in your life.

Wisdom Nugget: God does not determine your future with your past.

Prayer Point: Father, I refuse to be tied down to my past. I receive the grace to move forward with great speed in Jesus name.
