GOD IS NOT A RESPECTER OF PERSON – Day 156

Text: ACTS 10:1-48

Memory Verse: Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him (Acts 10:34, 35)

Message: There is nothing God has done in the lives of others that He cannot do in our lives or with our lives. Whatever God has done for others He can also do for us and even much more because He is not a respecter of persons. Another translation said that God is not given to favoritism. He is not a partial God. Whatever He has done for one He can do for all. No matter how much He has used anyone on this planet He can still use you or even much more. That was the revelation that the great man of God Bishop David Oyedepo caught when he traveled to Oral Robert University in Tulsa Oklahoma, U.S.A some years ago. He saw the great buildings and he was amazed at those structures but he exclaimed “This can happen anywhere”. That we are black or we are Africans does not mean that we are at a disadvantage. We have all the advantages that we need in Christ and we can become anything that God wants us to become in life. We too must tell ourselves, this can happen anywhere because God is not a respecter of persons. We must not write ourselves off or give up on ourselves. God is ever faithful and He can demonstrate His power in any life.

Wisdom Nugget: Our mentality determines our results. The way we see ourselves determines the way we talk and the actions we take.

Prayer Point: Father, I receive supernatural turnaround in my life now in Jesus name.
