GOD DELIGHTS IN OUR PROSPERITY – Day 152

Text: PSALM 35:1-28

Memory Verse: Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant (Psalm 35:27)

Message: Our God is a very wonderful God, a very good God indeed. If He has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant, surely He has greater pleasure or more pleasure in the prosperity of His children. God is not a wicked God. He is our Father, a very good, loving and caring Father who thinks of the best for His own children at all times. He wants us to have the best, enjoy the best and be the best so we can exhibit His glory and display His goodness to draw sinners to His kingdom. Your brothers, sisters, friends and relatives may not have pleasure in your prosperity. Some of them may even pray for your downfall.They may even oppose your prosperity and fight you or hate you because you are prospering, but there is nothing they can do to stop you if you refuse to stop yourself. They cannot stop you because God delights in your prosperity. All we need to do is to delight ourselves in Him and the things of His kingdom or favour His righteous cause. We need to be sold out to His will and His work. We must learn to work tirelessly with Him in drawing multitudes to His kingdom. We must be passionately involved in soul-winning and doing great exploits in God’s kingdom.

Wisdom Nugget: No one’s anger can stop you if God delights in you.
